Previous | Home | NextThe Pod uses static Kaldnes K-1 for mechanical and biological filtering. This photo was taken after only a few days of service... and ewww, needs a dump already! Cleaning is done with an airpump - the K-1 is aerated for several minutes to release all the 'stuff' trapped and then drained to the garden bed via a 1.5" ball valve. No more washing mats and sponges or getting stinky goop on my hands or clothes LOL I love it!!
